First dinner in VA & saw this place was popping so we had to try. Nice variety of menu options with a few dishes like the Fritto Misto app which I’ve never seen anywhere else & the Fig & the Pig Pizza. I’m going to safely assume the Fritto Misto is a sought after app because during our visit they only had the shrimp part of it so we decided to go with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip which was tasty. For drinks I went with a Sauvy B & the fiancé went with an Aperol Spritz. The AS wasn’t made the traditional way which was a small surprise, but it wasn’t bad. As for the pizza….. IT WAS BOMB! The Fig & the Pig is not a pie to pass up on & we ate every crumb. All in all this was a great experience & our server was fabulous.

Less than acceptable experience on 6/24. My wife and I visited around 4pm after having a positive experience several years prior. We unfortunately both ordered pasta dishes this visit, Spaghetti and Meatballs and the other Chicken Carbonara. Both came out cold, very small portions for the cost ($40 with tax and one drink) and less than tasteful. We will not be back, we sat in the area across from the bar. Small place and could hear kitchen staff cussing at each other. Our waitress was waiting tables, serving as hostess, and trying to serve at the bar. We left her a decent tip regardless. We try to support local businesses but I would go elsewhere.

We dropped in for a drink after walking up and down downtown. Our server Josh was great and had 2 huge limoncello spritzs to us quickly. So good to hydrate!

Our server Chantelle (edit: spelling) was an absolute angel. She was so attentive and visibly stood out from the crowd in that restaurant. She was friendly, kind, and very professional. I’d go back again only if I knew we’d be in her section. The food itself was…fine. I’m leaving a five-star review for the service specifically. The nachos came out dark brown from being burnt. The pizza was good, but tasted “home made” in a way that you wouldn’t want to pay $22 for. Kid behind us was standing on the table and kicking the booth. That’s not a restaurant problem, but the atmosphere was genuinely uncomfortable.

Entrance is presentable, bathroom clean from hand soap to personal ladies products if needed and did not expect (you know what). Now the IPA was tap and fresh you can tell from the foam, clarity, color, and aroma. Now the Carne Asada Taco Pizza this has topped all other places I have gone in Lynchburg. This place is a must come. Freshness, crisp bread, ingredients, (MUY BUENO) Very GOOD! Yes, prices are high but for the quality worth every cent. My first and most definitely coming back to try the BBQ brisket sandwich that was sold out so can’t wait to try that out. You will not regret. I sure did not. Thank you 🙏🏼
